Eye Emma Jedi

It’s hard to keep track with the vast amount of up-and-coming artists these days…but one group which has really caught my eye (lousy/unintentional pun) is Eye Emma Jedi: Two 22-year old Norwegian guys with the hunger, talent and the potential to make it big. Not only are they recording at the legendary Abbey Road, but they’ve also made Paul McCartney shout for more.

Alexander Pavelich and Andrew Murray are both multi-instrumentalists schooled at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, and they’re playing their absolute first gig ever at the Malakoff festival in Sogn, Norway this July.

With an upside down approach, they’ve actually managed to get both their singles listed before ever playing a gig.

Check out their first single Crucified here. Or try the video game music video for their second single Lights here.

Andrew also does remixes for other artists, and he assisted The Neon Lights with this wonderful edit of Adele’s Someone Like You (Worth listening to in High Quality!)

I met these guys for an interview on Friday. Great souls. Actually looking forward to going through recordings of the two-hour long conversation we had.
